Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GroupSignal. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.

The service

GroupSignal is a brand monitoring and market research platform. It watches public Facebook groups you point it at and emails you posts that match the keywords and topics you describe. Plans start at $79/mo, billed monthly through Paddle, our merchant of record, after a 15-day free trial. Cancel anytime during the trial and you're not charged; cancel after and you keep access through the current billing period. Paid charges are covered by a minimum 14-day refund window — see our Refund Policy for details.

Your responsibilities

• You're responsible for how you use the information we surface, in compliance with the platform's rules and applicable law.
• Don't share your account, and keep your login link private.

Acceptable use

GroupSignal is a market research and monitoring tool — it is not a lead generation service, a contact database, or a marketing list provider. By using it, you agree that you will not:

• Use the service, or anything surfaced through it, to conduct unsolicited outbound marketing, sales outreach, or cold contact of any individual;
• Identify, contact, or attempt to contact anyone based on a post or conversation the service surfaces;
• Sell, rent, redistribute, or otherwise make available to a third party any data obtained through the service as a marketing list, contact list, or similar dataset; or
• Use the service to build or enrich a marketing or sales list of any kind.

We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is using the service this way — see Termination below.

No guarantee of results

We surface posts that match what you're tracking as best our scanning and matching can — we don't guarantee a minimum number of mentions, that every matching post will be caught, or that scanning a group won't occasionally fail (a rate limit, a group going private, a temporary scanning issue). We flag scan errors in the dashboard when they happen.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or use it for anything unlawful. You can close your account at any time.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it.
